Description
Uniquely native to Western Australia, the Eucalyptus macrocarpa is up near the top of the rankings for the most beautiful flowering plant in the West. The large flowers can meaqsure over 100mm diameter and remain splendid in colour for weeks on end. Unfortunately, these plants are now threatened in the wild as their habitat is reduced and rural road reserve specimens are affected by encroaching rural crop and invasive weeds species. The original painting measures 56cm high x 40cm wide and is painted on 300 gsm Arches Hot Press paper.
